From 27 to 31 July, 2022, the Lebanese Forces Youth Association, represented by its Head of International Affairs Elie Obeid, participated at the Summer University of the European Democrat Students which was held in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. 

As the “Repowering E.U.- challenges and opportunities ahead” was the main theme of the meetings, several issues and discussions were held by experts and politicians. 
Moreover, a new executive bureau was elected and chaired by Beppe Galea. As for the BullsEye, the in-house magazine of the EDS, Lourda- Maria Najjar from the LFYA was appointed as one of the editors.

“As for Lebanon, the Lebanese Forces Party supports the investigation regarding Beirut Port blast, and it recalls for an international committee to investigate the explosion, for the local investigation is being obstructed. The LF Parliamentary Bloc, therefore, signs a new petition that will be submitted to the Human Rights Council demanding an international investigation”, Obeid confirms during the Council Meeting.
